Job Title: PRN Registered Nurse (RN) 
Location: Sincera Urgent Care, Pella, Iowa 
 
Job Summary:
Sincera Urgent Care in Pella, Iowa, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, support physicians, and ensure smooth clinical operations in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with healthcare team members.
- Perform triage, obtain patient history, and document patient information accurately.
- Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist in minor procedures, wound care, and suturing as needed.
- Conduct diagnostic tests, interpret results, and provide patient education on treatment plans and preventative care.
- Monitor patient progress and provide updates to physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor at all times.
- Maintain clean and organized patient care areas and ensure compliance with infection control policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with best practices in urgent care nursing.
- Assist with front office duties, including patient check-in/check-out, when necessary.
 
Qualifications:
- Current, valid RN license in the state of Iowa.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in urgent care, emergency room, or critical care settings.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to perform a wide range of nursing duties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technology.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in emergency nursing (CEN) or urgent care nursing (CUCN).
- Experience with pediatric and adult patient populations.
- Familiarity with urgent care protocols and procedures.
 
Working Conditions:
- PRN position with variable shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Fast-paced urgent care environment with exposure to infectious diseases and medical emergencies.
- Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting patients, and handling medical equipment.
