Market Manager

The Pella Famers' Market is seeking to hire an organized, enthusiastic, community-minded individual to serve as or next Market Manager.

The MARKET MANAGER will work closely with the Board of Directors to coordinate weekly market operations, support vendors, oversee marketing and special events, manage administrative responsibilities, and help create a welcoming experience for vendors and visitors alike.

The ideal candidate is:

·      Organized and dependable
·      Friendly and community-minded
·      Comfortable communicating with people
·      Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
·      Interested in supporting local agriculture and small businesses

This is a part-time, year-round position with the Market season running May through September.

We are seeking just the right individual to serve in the role of paid Market Manager while remaining under the umbrella of the Board.
