The Water / Wastewater Maintenance Worker II is responsible for performing technical duties involved with maintaining the city's water and wastewater distribution systems. As this position involves operating a variety of heavy equipment, the successful candidate must possess or be able to readily obtain a valid Class A Commercial driver's license with Tanker and Airbrake endorsements with the State of Iowa. A Grade II Water Distribution License must be obtained within 36 months from the date of hire. Residency is required within a 30-mile drive of the worksite, established within 60 days.
