Compliance Manager

Leighton State Bank is seeking a skilled Compliance Manager to oversee our regulatory, legal, and operational compliance programs. In this role, you will lead compliance, collaborate with bank leadership, maintain constant audit readiness, and cultivate a strong culture of accountability and excellence. The position is a full time, salaried exempt position.


What You'll Do:
Identify, develop and maintain compliance programs that mitigate risks presented to the bank in the areas of regulatory, legal and operational compliance. Coordinate internal/external audit schedules and design staff training programs. Collaborate with bank leaders in the identification, coordination, implementation and monitoring of controls implemented to mitigate identified risks.  Manage relationships with third parties, auditors and regulators as they assess the bank and its programs designed to control compliance and regulatory risks.  Promote accountability, ethical behavior and a strong compliance culture.
 
What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of banking experience (ideally in risk or compliance) or a relevant degree.
• Proven leadership abilities with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
• Comprehensive understanding of banking regulations, BSA laws, and risk management.
