IT Technician

Position Summary:
LDJ Manufacturing is looking for a technically skilled individual with strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving capabilities. This position will interact with colleagues in a variety of departments and at all levels of the organization – listening to their technical needs, understanding the issues they are experiencing and working with our third-party IT contractor to identify and implement solutions to those issues.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as Primary Contact for IT Support

    • Providing user support/troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

    • Coordinating with IT contractor to escalate hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Systems Management

    • Provide regular reports on server and workstation performance.

    • Conducting regular software and database backups.

  • Hardware/Software Support

    • Install networking hardware as needed.

    • Support with administration of the Active Directory and Office 365.

  • IT Budget Management

    • Audit and record all IT spending by department.

    • Create monthly IT budget report out 

  • Other Duties as Assigned Including but Not Limited to

    • Managing technical documentation and hardware warranties

    • Maintain accurate asset inventory for internal and external employees

 
Ideal Candidate will possess the following skill/qualities:

  • Experience writing Excel or DAX functions

  • Proficient with MS Office applications

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills

 
Education & Experience:

  • Associate degree in IT or comparable work experience

  • CompTIA A+ certification

  • SQL experience

  • Relational Database experience

  • Active Directory experience

Travel:
This position requires minimal travel, but it is preferred to have the ability to travel up to 5% of the time with a valid driver’s license.
