The Apprentice Lineperson is responsible for assisting in the construction, repair, and maintenance of the electrical distribution system. This position will perform duties on energized lines. Additionally, this position will assist with installing conduits, switches, overhead and underground primary and secondary lines. The successful candidate must possess or be able to readily obtain a valid Class A Commercial driver's license with the State of Iowa. Residency is required within a 30-mile drive of the worksite, established within 60 days of completion of a six-month probationary period.
