Job Title: Loan and Bank Operations Support
Status: Full-time Position

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position involves offering support to the loan department and executing administrative tasks for multiple departments. Key responsibilities include inputting various loan types into the CSI core system, processing loan payments and advances, calculating and applying payoffs, and assisting loan officers as needed. Additionally, the role involves handling phone reception, processing accounts payable transactions, generating and distributing various department reports, and completing audit functions. This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced banking environment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately input various loan types into the core system, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Calculate payoffs, handle partial payments, loan payoffs and track collateral.
  • Provide exceptional customer service for loan/teller functions and credit card advances.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate bank staff.
  • Administer accounts payable using the BankTel system.
  • Provide audit functions for new account documents and create weekly pending reports for the Retail department.
  • Provide administrative support relating to tracking and processing of memorials, donations, matching gifts and verifications of deposits.
  • Sort and disperse mail daily.
  • Complete a variety of administrative functions adding value across different departments.
  • Prepare shareholder documents and coordinate biennial reports.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to communicate timely and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Possess excellent computer skills.
  • Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting processes and procedures.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and work with frequent interruptions with minimal supervision while performing duties.
  • Ability to be flexible and manage workflow in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to coordinate tasks and collaborate with staff across departments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Office management and/or administrative assistant experience required.
  • Post-secondary degree preferred but not required.
  • Previous banking experience beneficial.
