Come view the movie that set the film industry on its head. “Loving Vincent” is the world’s first fully painted movie, using the techniques and colors that Vincent van Gogh used in his own paintings. Each of the film’s 65,000 frames is a full painting—a film that explores the life of van Gogh, his creativity, and the demons that
plagued him before his eventual suicide. Winner of several awards, including being nominated as Best Animated Feature by the Academy Awards. Cost is free and open to the public. At 7pm in the Van Emmerik Studio at Central College.
