Pella Professional Business Women Forum (PPBWF)
The Pella Professional and Business Women’s Forum (PPBWF) is a networking and professional development organization for women in Pella and the surrounding area. Members meet the third Thursday of each month (except August) for networking and learning from featured speakers.
The January forum will feature Julie Paxton who will be sharing information about the Pella Girl Scouts. In Pella there are 6 troops with over 50 registered Girl Scouts, ranging from Kindergarten to Adult. Beginning February 1st, you will see many of these girls around town as they begin selling Girl Scouts cookies to raise funds for troop activities such as campouts, service projects, and educational events. Girl Scouts has been helping girls become leaders since 1912. Juliette Gordon Low - also known by her nickname, "Daisy" - started Girl Scouts in Savannah, GA with 18 girls and a sense of adventure. Since then, Girl Scouts has grown into an international youth organization that currently has about 2.6 million girl and adult members worldwide.
The Pella Professional and Business Women’s Forum (PPBWF) is held at the Central College Graham Conference Center - Graham 1, from noon to 1p.m. Lunch is provided in the $12.00 guest fee. Visitors are welcome! If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Tammy Sauer at tsauer@midwestone.com by the Tuesday before each meeting.
