Opera House Outdoors returns for the third year on Friday, May 29!
This event celebrates music and community in Pella with an outdoor stage on the 600 block of Franklin Street. Starting at 4pm, four performers begin taking the stage. First up is Ryne Doughty, Americana singer/songwriter from Des Moines, followed by popular vocalist Andi Sunderman of Pella. Third act is the former Dutch Front Band, now performing country music as GRITT, leading into headliner Cover That Band.
Take advantage of the fenced area on Franklin Street, enclosing both food and alcohol vendors. To enter the fenced area, patrons are IDed at the Pella Opera House with patrons 6 through 20 years old paying $5 in advance ($7 at the gate) and receiving one color of wristband. Patrons 21 years of age and older pay $12 in advance ($15 at the gate) and receive a different color wristband. Ages 5 and under enter free. Or set up your free chair in Central Park and hear music at no charge.
In addition to food inside the fenced area, there is also food available outside of the fence, so admission is not required to get food.
