Concerto-Aria Concert at Central College
Central College Music Department is excited to bring our annual Concerto-Aria Concert. Concerto-Aria Competition winners Edmond Hemming, viola, and Cooper Vittetoe, bass (vocal), will be performing their winning pieces which include "Romanze for Viola and Orchestra", by Max Bruch and "Non piu andrai" from The Marriage of Figaro by W.A. Mozart. The strings from the Orchestra will be performing the premiere of, conductor, Sam Stapleton’s arrangement of Debussy’s 3rd Nocturne. Director Stapleton will also be performing Piazzolla’s "Tango" influenced ‘Spring’ from the Four Seasons of Buenos Aires. At 3pm in Douwstra Auditorium on Central's campus. Free and open to the public.
