Art and Learning Garden with Pella Community Center
Have you ever wondered about natural dyeing and the plants needed to do this? We are offering 2 sessions to work in this learning garden. During our time, we will take care of the plants needed for our art projects. Tending the garden allows us to learn how plants and people interact together. New techniques, skills, and processes will also be acquired. We will make art projects that connects us with those around us as well as the plants needed to complete our artistic efforts. Our projects will include journal making, pounded flower pictures, leaf printmaking, eco-dyeing projects and so many more. This class is for ages 7 & up.
