What does Art & Gardens have to do with each other?
During each 9-week session participants will work on nature themed art while also tending our Learning Garden. Plants we grow will help us create art, try new veggies and learn how to grow our favorites. Tending the garden allows us to learn how plants and people interact together. New techniques, skills, and processes will also be acquired.
Our projects will include making a journal to draw the bugs we find, using garden leaves for printmaking, eco-dyeing with marigolds and so many more.
This class is for ages 7-12 yrs old. Class limited to 15 with a minimum of 4. Pre-registration is required, online at https://cityofpella.activityreg.com/selectactivity_t2.wcs or call to register.
