DESCRIPTION:To finish up the celebrations of the company's 75th anniversary this year\, Vermeer will host a community day open house event on the Pella campus (1210 East Vermeer Rd\, Pella\, Iowa).\n\n\n\nActivities to do: Vermeer invites anyone who is interested in seeing the Pella campus and learning more about our company to stop by the Vermeer mile that morning and be part of the festivities.\n\nVisitors to campus will be able to take self-guided tours of the new Global Parts Distribution Center\, go through the newly remodeled Vermeer Museum\, see the original Founders' House\, where Gary and Matilda Vermeer lived\, and shop at The Hangar.\n\nSafety protocols: While no production will be happening on the Vermeer mile during the open house event\, we ask that team members and community visitors please respect the company's rules and protocols while onsite. Visitors will not be allowed to take photos or videos while inside these facilities\, and all other facilities on the Pella campus will be closed. Vermeer personnel will be on-hand during the event to assist guests and provide guidance on where to go and what to do.\n\nIn case of emergency during the event\, please contact Vermeer security at 641-621-7000.\n\nEntrance and parking details: Team members and visitors to the Pella campus are asked to enter the Vermeer mile from East Vermeer Road and park in only the areas designated on the map. Please enter/exit the open facilities through the buildings' main entrances. All other doors will remain locked and monitored by Vermeer on-site personnel.\n\n\n\nThis will be a great event for Vermeer to share what we do and how we do it with the local communities where our team members live and work. We look forward to welcoming our neighbors to our facilities!
