SUMMARY:Skinny Singles Tournament at Smash Park
DESCRIPTION:Do you want to test out your skinny singles game?? Here is your chance. \n\n\n\nIntermediate & Advanced Levels\n\nSign up for $15/per person. This is a singles game but with a little twist. You do not have to play the whole court. Skinny singles is a great drill/game to help with placing your shots and less moving on the court. \n\n\n\nHere is a quick rundown of how to play skinny singles Pickleball \n\n\n\nLike singles\, only 2 people play at a time. Play is on only half the court.\n\nThis can be cross court serving and returning diagonally across the court.\n\nOr can be down the line serving and returning on only one half of the court.\n\n\n\nAlthough the traditional skinny singles is played as cross-court service and return\, the down-the-line shot is done in a way in which the players are positioned on either side of the court based on their score.\n\n\n\nTake for example. If the score is at 2-2\, both the server and the opponent will be placed on their even sides and the cross-court serving is done from there. However\, if the score stands at 3-2\, the server (winning player) is placed on the odd side while the opponent is placed on the even side and the game is played as a cross-court game.\n\n\n\nRemember that in Pickleball\, the serving player changes sides for each service. The receiving player stays on the same side. This creates the same side service and return.
