DESCRIPTION:Friends of the Pella Public Library will hold their annual meeting and all members and the general public are welcome to attend. During this business meeting\, minutes from the 2018 meeting will be read\, the treasurer's report will be received and new officers will be elected. Projects funded during the past year are reviewed. At 10am at the Pella Public Library\, 603 Main St.\n\nThe Friends of Library is a non-profit organization whose mission is to: \n\n  Help generate financial support for the improvement of the library \n\n  Increase the interest in and use of the library and its services \n\n  Promote knowledge of the functions\, resources\, services\, and needs of the library \n\n  Provide\, when available\, volunteers to assist with library projects \n\nA donation of $10.00 or more gets a single membership. All donations are tax-deductible. Some of the Friends projects include Book Sales\, the aviary\, guest speakers\, summer reading prizes\, electronic books and movies\,and the early literacy station.
