DESCRIPTION:This event is open to any employee or business owner that works with/in Human Resources (HR).  This includes professionals who may have human resources as their primary job duty and those who may only work with HR on a very limited basis.  ECI meetings are held bi-monthly and provide an opportunity to network with individuals from around Marion County who work in/with HR\, and learn about current HR issues that affect every business.  Salad bar lunch is available and at your own expense.\n\n\n\nThis month's topic: Connecting dedicated employees to better career opportunities\n\nPresented by Shelley Seitz\, Iowa Workforce Development Reentry Workforce Program Coordinator\n\n\n\nShelley Seitz is the Reentry Workforce Program Coordinator for Iowa Workforce Development. She is a certified Offender Workforce Development Specialist and holds her International Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification. She is also the Federal Bonding Program Coordinator for the state of Iowa. Shelley graduated with her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.\n\n\n\nPrior to IWD\, Shelley worked with Iowa Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer and a Correctional Counselor for nearly 20 years. Shelley brings an array of knowledge and resources to her new role and is very passionate about helping justice involved individuals. She is dedicated to increasing resources and employment opportunities to returning citizens\, as well as improving the juvenile and adult reentry systems.\n\n\n\nIn this session learn more about: \n\n\n	Eligible individuals and what losses are covered\n	Integrating Federal Bonding Program into pre-hire practices\n	History of Federal Bonding\n	No cost ease of application\n\n\nSponsored by:
