DESCRIPTION:Central College invites high school students with an interest in science\, technology\, engineering and math (STEM) to visit the Central campus in Pella\, Iowa\, on Friday\, July 24. \n\n \n\nThe free event is a chance for students to make connections\, tour campus\, get your hands dirty and discover the possibilities Central College can offer you.\n\n \n\nThe event is open to all high school students who register in advance by calling 641-628-7616 or sign up online at https://www.central.edu/admission/events/stem-visit-day/.\n\n \n\nParticipating students and their guests will also get a campus tour\, an opportunity to meet Central students and alumni and complimentary lunch. In addition\, students will have the ability to participate in hands-on STEM workshop sessions in the college's classrooms\, laboratories and out in the field. Hands-on sessions include:\n\n  Slime\, Time and Alchemy \n\n  Dolphins and Dimensions\n\n  Hidden Structures and Heat\n\n  Human Movement: The Why and What\n\n  Picobot: Robots\, Logic and Computer Science
