DESCRIPTION:Central College will be hosting Mr. Adam Hammes\, the Executive Director of Iowa Sustainable Business Forum. He will be giving a presentation titled: The Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship of Sustainable Business in Iowa: How Leading Companies Profit from Environmental and Social Responsibility. Adam will share stories of his work as a sustainability leader at Kum & Go and will share examples from a range of other Iowa businesses\, drawing from his work as a consultant. These stories are inspiring and instructive for others\, whether looking to launch a new business or looking to lead innovative new initiatives in established companies. Adam will not just focus on environmental sustainability\, but also other ways businesses are expanding their socially responsibility\, like promoting wellness for their employees and communities. At 7pm in the Cox-Snow Recital Hall at Central College. This presentation is free and open to the public.
