Union Street Players presents Anne of Green Gables
Anne of Green Gables is a classic, bestselling 1908 novel by Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery which recounts the adventures of Anne Shirley, a young orphan girl, age 11 who is mistakenly sent to Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, a middle-aged brother and sister who have a farm on Prince Edward Island and who had intended to adopt a boy to help them. The story recounts how Anne makes her way with the Cuthberts, in school and within the town. USP brings this classic to the stage for the first time. Sure to please the whole family! Performances will be February 26, 27 and 28 at 7 pm, and March 1 at 2 pm. Tickets will be $10 in advance or $12 at the door for adults, and $8 in advance or $10 at the door for students/ children (All balcony seats $8).
