This Top Five monthly series focuses on issues small businesses face daily.  Each month  features a topic such as human resources, marketing, accounting, IT and others. The featured speaker from each event in the series will introduce five key takeaways that will help your small business be successful. 

This Top Five series will feature experts in human resources, marketing, accounting, IT and others. They will introduce five things on certain topic that will help you be successful in your small business.

Research by the Corporate Executive Board indicates that managers promoted into a new position take up to two years to get acclimated. That time can be shortened, when done properly. Small businesses can't afford the mistakes a new manager makes during that learning period. This transfer of power is a make-or-break moment for the new leader! This session will lay out five critical actions you need to take to shorten that learning curve.

Daniel McCraine is an expert in creating training programs that deliver immediate results in behavior change and performance improvement. McCraine is currently a training consultant and a nationally-recognized, award-winning training professional. McCraine has extensive experience as a leadership coach, performance consultant, e-learning designer, instructional designer and a facilitator.  His training programs have helped companies save over $21.2 million in capital and expenses.

The PACE Alliance has arranged these events to be simulcast live each month at the Graham Annex at Central College from 12-1 pm.  There is no fee to attend the group simulcast.  If you would like a box lunch from Central Catering they are available for $10 (box lunch RSVP's need to be made to the Alliance office by 11 am the day before the event by registering above or calling our office 628-2626).
