Top Five for Small Business: How Tax Reform Will Affect Your Business
This Top Five monthly series focuses on issues small businesses face daily. Each month features a topic such as human resources, marketing, accounting, IT and others. The featured speaker from each event in the series will introduce five key takeaways that will help your small business be successful.
This presentation will focus on the new tax bill and how it will affect businesses as well as individuals. Specifically, the presentation will go into detail on five topics: Tax Rates, General Provisions, Pass-Through Taxation, Iowa Tax Considerations, and Individual Taxation. There will be many examples to illustrate the various changes and how they could benefit your business or you as an individual. In summary, the presentation will try and simplify the complex tax bill into ways that are easily understood.
