This month, we'll cover the top five things to know when leasing a space for your business.  

Making a commercial real estate decision is an important one and may have long term impacts on you and your organization. You will be faced with many acronyms, brokers and landlords ¾ despite all of that, the process of finding your future location can be fun and rewarding when armed with the right questions and assembling the right team to help you through the process. Our panelists will help you identify these questions and hopefully make the process stress free and ultimately a successful one. We will focus on the following themes:
Top Five things to know when leasing a space for your business

  1. Benefits of Having a Broker Team - What does a broker and site selection team do? How much do our service cost?
  2. Know the lingo - What’s triple net? CAM? Gray Shell? Vanilla Box? TI? Work Letter?
  3. Avoiding the Avoidable – Zoning, parking, WRA and other issues to be aware of
  4. Lease Agreements/Purchase Negotiations and Agreements
  5. Tenant Improvements 
The PACE Alliance has arranged these events to be simulcast live each month at the Graham Annex at Central College from 12-1 pm.  There is no fee to attend the group simulcast.  If you would like a box lunch from Central Catering they are available for $10 (box lunch RSVP's need to be made to the Alliance office by 9 am the day of event by registering above or calling our office 628-2626).
