This month, we'll cover the top five things to know about Quickbooks.
QuickBooks is the most widely used accounting software for small businesses, but this doesn’t mean that the software is easy to use. Even if you have used it for years there’s always additional information to help you along the way. We will be covering the top 5 things all QuickBooks users should know. This presentation will be useful to all QuickBooks users, whether you are beginner or an advanced user.
Jonathan Porter, CPA
Jonathan Porter is a Manager at McGowen, Hurst, Clark & Smith, P.C. in the Business Advisory and Tax Services Department. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and also a Master of Accounting in May 2011. Porter’s area of expertise is small business accounting and taxation, along with consulting clients on their processes and procedures within their business.
Jonathan is a member of the AICPA, CPAmerica International and the ISCPA. Porter is also a past graduate of the Kansas Society of CPAs “20 up to 40” Leadership Program.
Katelyn Fevold, CPA
Katelyn Fevold is a Senior Accountant at McGowen, Hurst, Clark & Smith, P.C. in the Business Advisory and Tax Services Department. She graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. Fevold’s area of expertise is small business accounting and taxation, along with consulting clients on their accounting software solutions. Fevold is a member of the AICPA, CPAmerica International and the ISCPA.
The PACE Alliance has arranged these events to be simulcast live each month at the Graham Annex at Central College from 12-1 pm. There is no fee to attend the group simulcast. If you would like a box lunch from Central Catering they are available for $10 (box lunch RSVP's need to be made to the Alliance office by 9 am the day of event by registering above or calling our office 628-2626).
