Thursdays in Pella: Ag in the City
Head downtown for Thursdays in Pella! Every Thursday evening in June and July you are sure to have a blast enjoying live entertainment, activities for kids, food vendors, displays, and more. Each Thursday will begin activities at 6 pm and will conclude with a city band performance at 8 pm. Activities are free or have very minimal cost.
This Thursday's theme is Ag in the City! Come on out for activities brought to you by the Farm Bureau, Marion County Bank, Pella Coop Electric, Sheep Sheering, Flex Fuel Trailer, Lely North America, NCRS Rain Simulator, Pella FFA Exhibits, Red ROck Peace Tree Delta Waterfowl, Pella Rental & Sales, Marion Co. Cattlemen, FFA Alumni, Wells Fargo, LDJ Manufacturing, Trick Roping, DNR, Two Rivers Co-op, Ulrich Ford Lincoln, Tom Terrific Balloons, Face Painting, Open Bible Games, Digital Galleria, MidWestOne Bank, KNIA KRLS Radio, Titan Machinery, Vermeer Manufacturing, Van Wall Equipment, a Corn Pile, Food Vendors, US Bank, Family Tractor/Wagon Rides, Antique Tractor Rodeo, PellaMotors.com, MidTown Tire, Iow Historical Trailer, Community 1st Credit Union Barrel Train, Petting Zoo and Bees.
In addition to these activities, there will also be an information booth with the opportunity to give input on the look/design for the Downtown Street/Streetscape Reconstruction plan. The public is welcome to stop by and have open discussion with the planners, designers, and the Steering Committee regarding the upcoming Downtown reconstruction plans.
