Tassel Ridge Winery presents Red Wine Lovers' Tasting and Wine Dinner
Join us for a very special dinner evening beginning at 6pm with a visit to the Tassel Ridge Winery cellar where Winery owner, Bob Wersen, will take tastes of wines directly from the barrels. He will discuss how the wines were made, and then you will be able to taste the difference a year of barrel aging makes in a wine. Before dinner is served, Bob will share the different wine making techniques used to make Tassel Ridge Iowa Marquette. Sample three Iowa Marquette vintages and select your favorite to pair later with your entrée. Dinner begins at 6:30pm with a Spinach, Arugula, Raspberry, Goat Cheese, Pistachio, and Maple Vinaigrette Salad paired with Tassel Ridge La Crescent followed by Beef Tenderloin, Polenta Cake, and Grilled Asparagus paired with Tassel Ridge Iowa In the Dark. For dessert, in honor of National Strawberries and Cream Day, Dark Chocolate Covered Strawberry and Cream Cake will be paired with Tassel Ridge Oskyfizzante® Pink. Advance prepaid, non-refundable reservations required by Friday, May 20. Call the Winery at 641.672.WINE (9463) to make reservations. $50 per person, plus tax; Harvest Club Member & 1 Guest: $45 per person, plus tax (includes dinner, wine paired with each course, and gratuity).
