Tassel Ridge Winery presents Red Wine Lover's Tasting and Wine Dinner
Join us for a very special dinner evening beginning with a visit to the Tassel Ridge Winery cellar at 6pm where Winery owner, Bob Wersen, will take tastes of wines directly from the barrels. He will discuss how the wines were made, and then you will be able to taste the difference a year of barrel aging makes in a wine. Before dinner is served, Bob will share the different wine making techniques used to make Tassel Ridge Iowa Marquette. Sample at least three Iowa Marquette vintages and select your favorite to pair later with your entrée.
Dinner begins at 6:30pm with a salad of Mixed Greens, Apples, Goat Cheese, Toasted Almonds, and Raspberry Vinaigrette paired Tassel Ridge La Crescent followed by Filet Mignon with Caramelized Shallot Butter, Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, and Grilled Asparagus paired with the Iowa Marquette vintage of your choice. For dessert, a Poached Pear will be paired with Tassel Ridge Finalé Premier Red. Advance prepaid, non-refundable reservations required by Friday, March 11. Call the Winery at 641.672.WINE (9463) to make reservations. $50 per person, plus tax; Harvest Club Member & 1 Guest: $45 per person, plus tax (includes dinner, wine paired with each course, and gratuity).
