Event Description:
Humanities Iowa scholar David Connon will discuss why some Iowans chose to fight for the Confederacy during the U.S. Civil War & what motivated them. Sponsored by Humanities Iowa and Walmart. At 7pm in Scholte Church, Historical Village, 507 Franklin. Admission is free, but you must have a ticket. Pella Historical members may pick up tickets at the Vermeer Mill until Sept. 3. After that day, any tickets left will be open to the public.
