Have you ever wanted a hand knotted rug? Not just any rug, but one with the quality to last a lifetime and the fair trade labor standards you demand? The Work of Our Hands invites you to explore over 300 rugs, runner to room-size, at our Rug Event. Hand-knotted by fairly paid adults. Many styles including Tribal, Bokhara, and Persian. Overall rug event takes place from October 23-26 during normal store hours at The Work of Our Hands, 627 Franklin St. Join us also on Thursday, October 24 at 6:30pm to learn how Oriental rugs are made and hear how fair trade makes a difference both in Oriental rug quality and in artisans' lives. Admission is free!
