His bulk, sterile processing reduced food spoilage losses and provided millions of people worldwide with access to fresh, nutritious food. Nelson, recognized as the leader of modern food science and technology, saw the untapped potential of aseptic technologies for large-scale applications. He went on to develop bulk processing and packaging technology, which can be found in almost every country in the world. At 11am in the Cox-Snow Music Center on the Central College campus.
