Event Description:
Join the Central College Ag Club for a conversation about animal agriculture in Iowa. Special guests will include Mike Telford, Director of Iowa Farm Animal Care and Ethan Book of Crooked Gap Farm in Knoxville. They will speak about large scale animal production and small family farm operations and address topics such as animal welfare, worker and consumer health and safety, impacts on water quality and climate change, and much more. At 7pm in the Boat Room of the Maytag Student Center on the Central College campus. Free and open to the public.
